I can change MAC address after clean install Windows XP SP3 and I try to use Ubuntu LiveDVD but I found one problem and probably bug in Network Manager. I tried to connect to router numerous times and I realized why can't work. I show to you why this not working.

Here I post several screenshots and you will see more clearly.

In beginning I see original MAC address in first image and I successfully changed MAC address in terminal. I don't pay attention on "Too many open files in system" in Live Ubuntu. It worked anyway. See next screenshot.  Wireless PCI card  is on eth1.

And result:  [ Go to next screenshot ]

Start to connect wireless to router. Notice wireless icon  is trying to connect in upper bar. Waiting.....  Go to next screenshot.

Can't connect and asking wireless password. Why? Go to next screenshot. (Notice screenshot window is cut - this was old videocard  slowing :)

After clicking "Cancel". I checked between connection and asking password box in terminal mac address is unchanged. Now disconnected.  Go to next screenshot.

And notification faded. Now I checked again MAC address reseted itself. I think this Network Manager changed it back. I must say wireless network manager does not apply changed MAC address. It is bug?

In Windows XP SP3 works okay with MAC spoof.

THE END.
